REACHING THE WORLD WITH THE GOOD NEWS OF GOD’S GRACE

Many times throughout the Bible, we are told to be the living presence of Christ. In Acts 1:8, we find Jesus telling us where we are to do this: “You shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, and to the remotest parts of the earth.” This roughly translates for us to go outside of our church walls and into the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. The goal of Christian missions is to bring glory to Christ by proclaiming his death, burial and resurrection to people who have never heard the Gospel. Our church supports missions in Anacortes, Washington state, the greater U.S., and within several countries abroad. Missionaries are supported by means of prayer, encouragement, and financial aid.
